All weather dog house - do-it-your-self - if you want to keep your dog outside in all weather do a proper dog house. This model is designed to quick and easy building. It also last for years and keeps the dog warm even in temperatures as low as -29°F (-20°C). Even if it's recommended to build a heater when used in low temperatures.
All weather dog house - do-it-yourself - if you want to keep your dog outside in all weather do a proper dog house. This model is designed to quick and easy building. It also last for years and keeps the dog warm even in temperatures as low as -5°F (-20°C). Even if it's recommended to build a heater when used in low temperatures.
What you need is:
- 9 sq.m (that's 95 sq.ft) of plywood
- 12 m (that's 40 ft) of 2"x2" board
NOTE! You do not need this 2"x2" board if you use thicker (3/4") plywood.
- 4 sq.m (that's 40 sq.fy) of 50 mm (that's 2") insultation material as styrox
- screws
- some tools
Do the dog house in this order:
- Saw the plywood parts.
- Cut the door openings, all three at same time.
- Do the outer box. Screw the 2"x2" boards.
NOTE! You do not need this 2"x2" board if you use thicker (3/4") plywood.
- Do the insulating.
- Do the inner box.
- Do the roof.
